Package Security

Posted By on December 19, 2024

In addition to the previous correspondence regarding the parcel lockers and best practices for packages, we’d like to remind everyone to pick up their packages as soon as possible once delivered. The building engineer, Edward, has been taking the time to bring up packages left in the parcel lockers before he leaves each day, but this leaves packages left overnight vulnerable.

While multiple police reports have been filed on the HOA’s behalf for breaking and entering, if your package is stolen, you must file your own police report since it is your stolen property. The HOA is unable to file such a report on your behalf. The more police reports filed, the better. This will urge the police department to seriously investigate this recurring issue.

In the meantime, if possible, please consider having your packages delivered to a different address while we tackle this issue with the police. You might be able to have items shipped to your work address or to the home of a nearby family member or friend.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Please know that we are doing everything in our power to stop this person from returning and continuing to steal packages. If anyone has any further suggestions, please email me directly. Thank you!
